BES Object Types

BES objects are created in and exported from 3DS MAX. They contain graphical data (geometry etc.) of a model.

It is possible to select BES objects only when the Entity/Subentity toggle (hotkey Q) is off.

Basic properties in the Properties tab

Entity name object name shown in the editor


Clip Distance distance within which the object is drawn (in meters)
Current sets the current distance between the camera and the object center


Is Background toggles object placement between scene and background,
icon:
Bilboard XZ object will rotate along X and Y axes to face the camera,
icon:
Bilboard Z object will rotate along Z axis to face the camera,
icon:
No cut by visibility object will be drawn even when out of the visibility limit (thi is set in the Scene tab)


Set/Add opens the dialog for sector associations
Remove remove the associations of selected sectors
